At this point, the news would be a week without more Arkham City DLC.
The latest DLC pack features a load of skins for Batman to run around in and beat up the inmates of Arkham City. Think they'll dig the Bat's new threads? The pack is available for 400 MS Points for the 360 and $4.99 for the Playstation 3 and Games for Windows Live.
Here are the new skins that Rocksteady and WB Interactive have made available:
1970s Batsuit
Year One Batman
The Dark Knight Returns
Earth One Batman
Batman Beyond
Batman: The Animated Series
Sinestro Corps Batman
Remember the confusing, almost punishing preorder setup among the various retailers for the Batman: Arkham City skins? Relying on one of the most annoying tics of the current console generation, each of the major retailers was holding a free skin for Arkham City, and if you wanted to deck your Batman out in his duds from Batman: The Animated Series, you'd have to choose one retailer over another, but don't think you'd be getting any others. And so it went for the Batman Beyond skin, and so on, and so on. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things--I mean, they're available now and you can just buy them in this newly-released bit of DLC from Rocksteady Studios and WB Interactive--and it makes perfect sense from a bottom line standpoint, but man it doesn't stop feeling sketchy.
The "Arkham City Skins Pack" is available now.
