"One reason that 'Tiger' is so intriguing is that it's reaching players in a way we haven't before." Those are the words of Jason Jones, one of the co-founders of Bungie, describing the developer's first post-"Halo" project. It's not a whole lot to go on, but it's something, and when it comes to new stuff about Bungie games, fans will take what they can get.
Speaking of taking what they can get, check out this hour-long documentary on the history of Bungie. It has been released as a culmination of their 20th anniversary festivities.
The image at the top of this post was taken from that documentary. In the closing seconds, we get a glimpse of a star-filled sky, and outline of a planet and that symbol...whatever it is. It looks a bit like a simplified version of The Septagon, which has represented the Bungie community for years.
Even though this ViDoc isn't brimming with new information, it's incredibly well put together and worth a watch for Bungie fans. There's some incredibly early footage of the original design for "Halo" in there, when it was still an sci-fi, "Myth"-inspired RTS, for example.
As for what the new game will be, it's safe to assume that it'll be a sci-fi action game set in a massive universe and will have, wait for it, multiplayer of some sort. It's likely to release in the next 10 years, presuming the Mayans weren't right about the whole 2012 thing. You won't find that sort of in-depth analysis anywhere else, people!
