'Tekken Hybrid' Bundles Two HD 'Tag Tournament' Games, One Film

Namco Bandai had a big surprise for "Tekken" fans during Comic-Con this weekend. I'm not talking about a little surprise here, either. In fact, I would say the company had a plethora of "Tekken" announcements on hand to please even the most battle-hardened fan of the iconic franchise. As it turns out, you're not only getting a PlayStation 3 bundle called "Tekken Hybrid," but you can also play "Tekken Bowl" on your iOS device for the finest price: free.

What's in the "Tekken Hybrid" package, you ask? First, you'll get a full-length 3D, computer-generated film, "Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D" on Blu-ray. Secondly, you'll get "Tekken Tag Tournament HD." Lastly, you'll also get "Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue," which is essentially a little taste of the full "Tag Tournament 2" experience, since the full game still hasn't made the move from Japanese arcades to consoles, yet.

"Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue includes character modeling and costume design that is not included in the arcade version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2," said series creator Katsuhiro Harada via press release. "Bringing together a movie, bonus video content, a full HD remake, and a special prologue of the latest Tekken arcade title all in one disc has been challenging, but has resulted in a truly innovative and unique product in the PlayStation 3 system’s history."

If you're slightly less aware of the "Tekken" universe, you may have never heard of "Tekken Bowl." It's completely the same as professional bowling, expect that it's with "Tekken" characters, and you're probably a panda. Other than that, totally normal.

The iOS version of "Tekken Bowl" is available in Apple's App Store right now. "Hybrid" will be available this November.
