A week ago, Zynga announced that it was partnering up with pop-singer Lady Gaga to release a "FarmVille" spin-off of sorts, dubbed "GagaVille." The cross-promotional marketing move was sure to have plenty of Little Monsters excited for the chance to farm with their favorite singer, but the opportunity to gain early access to "Born This Way" tracks is what really has fans going Gaga. The game launches today, and runs through May 23.

Gotham City Imposters

If there's one thing about "Batman: Arkham City" we can be sure of, it's that Batman won't be using any guns. That's just how he rolls. And while that's all well and good for a story-based stealth game like "Arkham City," it makes for pretty poor FPS fodder. In a face-off between baterangs and shotguns, shotguns are usually going to win. So how is Monolith Productions (the developers behind the original "F.E.A.R.") planning on making a Batman-centric multiplayer FPS? Simple. Remove the Batman. Welcome to "Gotham City Impostors."

Last week, we reported on the "Modern Warfare 3" information leak that showcased screenshots, audio clips, and even the game's story (if you really want to ruin it for yourself). It was also rumored that the game would launch on November 8, but there was no official announcement at the time. Last night, an email went out to GameStop PowerUp members, informing them that "Modern Warfare 3" was now available for pre-order.

Heading out to grab a copy of "L.A. Noire" tonight? There's all kinds of different incentives for those of you who pre-ordered, and even a decent amount of goodies for the insane amongst you who feel like sitting outside your local game retail establishment until midnight tonight. If you're among the early arrivals at Best Buy, though, you just might snag a free code for the game's first downloadable-content.

Earlier this month, the internet went all aflutter that Ubisoft was entering the film business with the founding of Ubisoft Motion Pictures. This was at least partially true, as the French company was in fact looking to secure deals with American studios to produce movies based on their gaming franchises. That said, the company had no plans to actually start producing motion pictures on their own. Now, it looks like the company may already be in discussions to release 3D versions of "Assassin's Creed," "Splinter Cell," and "Ghost Recon."

L.A. Noire

Rockstar Games never seems to shy away from an ambitious project. The "Grand Theft Auto" franchise put them on the map, but games like "Bully" and "Red Dead Redemption" have solidified them as industry leaders, particularly when it comes to open-world action games. With their pedigree, Rockstar's next epic, "L.A. Noire," is attempting to redefine detective games while taking inspiration from the pulp fiction and the classic film noir style to a degree that no game that has come before it has ever attempted.

Well, the great PlayStation Network outage of 2011 appears to have finally come to an end. Almost a month after the PlayStation Network servers were taken offline, services began a rolling restart on Saturday. Essentially all features – online gaming, friend lists, chat – have been restored, but the PlayStation Store currently remains down. There's no exact word yet on when the downloadable content marketplace will return.

Brink

Before "Brink" launched last week, I was totally on-board. I had seen the game at multiple preview events and everything seemed to be coming together for the multiplayer-centric tactical shooter. Unfortunately, at launch, the game suffered from horrendous lag issues and an obvious lack of content. Bethesda and Splash Damage are hoping to remedy both of those issues, the former with a title update, and the latter with free DLC coming in June.

Gears of War 3

There are some who are fine with the regular ol' boxed version a game. They're buying it for the game, so what do they need all that extra stuff for? Others decide that they may want some in-game items, exclusive to the collector's edition. And then there's the crowd who, even if it's priced at exorbitant rates, will buy the ultra edition a game, just to ensure that they're not missing out. For those folks, there's the "Gears of War 3" Epic Edition.

iMac

A few years ago, the all-in-one desktop had developed a bit of a reputation. They were perfectly serviceable machines for basic needs like Facebook browsing and watching YouTube clips, but when it came to doing anything visually taxing, they may as well have been paper weights. That was back in the day of those blueberry-colored, box-shaped iMacs with the handles built right in.

Of course, in recent years, things have changed. iMacs are used by artists, video editors and gamers the world over. Each year they seem to get closer and closer to their big brother, the Mac Pro, and the 2011 iMac closes the gap even further. If you're looking for an all-in-one that can handle just about everything you throw at it, you've come to the right place.
