It may not seem like it, but few games are based solely around the subject of gore. There have been plenty of violent games, sure, but usually killing is secondary to completing your objective. Very few games make the killing itself the objective. "Mortal Kombat" was one, and now we have "Bulletstorm," a unique FPS which is sure to please some adults and horrify others. Children, however, should stay far away.

After months and months (and months) of speculation and rumor, Sony smacked us all with a one-two punch in recent weeks between the announcement of its upcoming NGP handheld (or PSP2, as some refer to it) and its also-upcoming Xperia Play mobile phone, which was referred to before its announcement as the "PlayStation Phone." We only knew the specs on the phone until today; now, a UK-based online retailer's product page may have outed the price for this puppy... and it ain't cheap.

"Bulletstorm" is out today. It is a first-person shooter that butters its bread on the idea of rewarding players for killing an array of enemies in increasingly bizarre and combo-driven ways. There's an electronic leash, an abundance of swearing and buckets of blood. If you are under 17, stop reading this instant. Otherwise, hit the jump to hear all about the upcoming DLC that co-developer Epic Games (with People Can Fly) announced today.

Very soon now, Nintendo's promises of a glasses-free 3-D future will be fulfilled with the release of the company's new portable gaming device, the Nintendo 3DS. We already knew that the price is set at $249.99 and that the handheld will be released on March 27. Other details have been sparse however, including the all-important question of what games will be available at launch. Nintendo answered that question today for North American customers, and you can see the full list after the jump.

In case you haven't heard, "Killzone 3" is out today. For first-person shooter fans, PS3 exclusives don't get much bigger. But this installment is a bit of an odd bird. With most games, a review can be summed up into, "the game is good" or "the game is bad." As it turns out, "Killzone 3" is both. What you're looking to get out of it is really going to determine whether it's worth your hard-earned money, as certain aspects are much better executed than others. So pay attention: This post is going to determine the fate of your $60.

When you think of Valve Corporation, the first things that probably pop into your mind are "Half-Life" and "Portal." Perhaps even the company's digital delivery gaming service, Steam. What you probably don't think of, however, is submarines. Maybe you should though, since Valve boss Gabe Newell certainly has.

The name "de Blob" may not carry as much weight as other revolutionaries like Che Guevera, Mohandas Gandhi, and George Washington, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't mean the world to the citizens of Chroma City. In 2009, de Blob single-handedly freed countless Graydians from the oppressive control of Comrade Black and the INKT Corporation in his original, Wii-exclusive game. Now THQ has brought him back (on multiple plaforms) to help save the citizens of Prisma City from a similar monochromatic fate in "de Blob 2."

"Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight" was released in March 2010, the latest in Electronic Arts' long-running real-time strategy franchise. There's been no confirmation from EA on a sequel beyond vague comments, but an apparently accidental website publish outed a few new details relating to a coming "Command & Conquer" game.

If you've been interested in the "Professor Layton-meets-Fargo" world of "Puzzle Agent," but lacked an iPad or didn't want to play on PC, here's hoping you're a PlayStation 3 owner. During a press event, Telltale announced that the Graham Annable-sketched puzzle game would make its console debut this spring.
