Despite losing their leader, Tomonobu Itagaki, in 2008, Team Ninja has soldiered on. The developer's last big release was "Metroid: Other M," the 3rd-person Wii installment, but in terms of their own franchises, it has been mostly ports and updates to old games since Itagaki's departure. "Ninja Gaiden" is arguably the biggest of these franchises, and it looks like we won't have to wait too long to discover what the future has in store for Ryu and his band of ninjas. A new trailer was released today which promises the unveiling of the next "Ninja Gaiden" game at E3 2011 in June.

Just to be clear: there's little doubt in any fan's mind that at some point after today, and probably tomorrow too, Rockstar Games will be announcing and then releasing "Grand Theft Auto 5." It is as much a certainty as the rising and setting of each day's sun. However, today's news drops a hint that people in the Rockstar offices might now be thinking about when "GTA 5" -- or whatever the next "GTA" follow-up might be called -- will arrive. Or maybe not. Take a look at the evidence and decide for yourself.

While fans of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops" zombie mode continue to puzzle over an epic-scale easter egg embedded in the code of the latest map, "Ascension," a few are puzzling over what might be coming next. It's easy to write off "Bulletstorm" as a mindless shooter. It certainly doesn't take itself too seriously, what with the incessant and varied usage of the word "d**k" and the giant, robotic dinosaurs. But beneath that over-the-top exterior is an actual, living universe...one that People Can Fly went to great lengths to keep as authentic as possible. At the heart of all of that? Skill points.
