"Shadows of the Damned," the new zombie/horror/action shooter from the creators of "No More Heroes" and "Resident Evil" turned out to be a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title when Goichi Suda and Shinji Mikami unveiled it during a Tokyo Game Show announcement last week. It wasn't always destined to be exclusive to those two consoles, however. In fact, it was originally planned to be on the Wii and PC, which is something you don't see every day.

Remedy Entertainment doesn't want anyone keeping their hopes up for an "Alan Wake" PC release, and the same goes for any further DLC after their Depeche Mode-soundtracked episode "The Writer" comes out. It still doesn't have a release date, but don't expect to see further content after the new update enters the market.

Capcom's 30-plus fighters in "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" have been steadily coming into focus since the new sequel was announced earlier this year. In the meantime, the release date has been shrouded in ambiguity somewhere in the new year. A Capcom annual report to investors may have roped off a window, however, placing its launch somewhere between January 1 and March 31, 2011.

As anyone who's seen "The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters" knows, Steve Wiebe has been trying for years to beat Billy Mitchell and officially retake the all-time high score spot for "Donkey Kong." This week, he finally made good, and Twin Galaxies has verified Wiebe's new score of 1,064,500 and probably made him as happy as he's been since Mitchell took the title away from him in 2007.

Like many of you, I've spent the last week playing a ton of "Halo: Reach." There's no question that it's a great game, but something has become increasingly obvious over my last half-dozen play sessions: I'm gonna be stuck with the armor I've got for a long, long time.
Right now I'm sitting pretty at Warrant Officer Grade 2. I hit the first rank of Warrant Officer on September 10, a few days before the game launched. Reviewers were sent copies the Friday before, and since I was able to bring my progress over from my review session, I started with a big jump in credits. Unfortunately, despite sinking a solid 20 hours into "Halo: Reach" since then, I'm still at Warrant Officer (albeit Grade 2 now). It's not until I hit Captain, which is around 70,000 credits away, that I actually unlock any new armor options, and even then it's only one or two additions.

Even if "Fable 3" doesn't include Kinect support at launch, it will have a King's ransom worth of Xbox Live Achievements to unlock, and you don't need to be intimately familiar with the series to understand why the list looks like a mash-up of "Fallout 3" and "The Sims" accomplishments. A little Ghostbusters humor may sneak up on you, however, but you'll understand why after you read the rundown below.

"Halo: Reach" co-op problems with 4GB Xbox 360 units may have been unintentional, but the absence of Campaign Matchmaking in the in the title at launch was not. Bungie didn't want to spoil the the game's ending for players picking the game up off the shelf in its first week, but they have some fixes to deliver and believe the time will also be right for such functionality in less than a month.

"MineCraft" is one of those games that will frighten you to your very core. It's not that it's a scary game...but the sheer scope of it twists and turns one's mind like a pretzel. Just take a look at the official Wiki page and you begin to realize that there's a lot more to this game than early '90s graphics. Yes, we have a new "Dwarf Fortress" on our hands.

The download numbers "Doctor Who: The Adventure Games" received in the U.K. turned out to be high enough to warrant a second batch of chapters in 2011, the BBC has revealed, and even if you'll still have to pay to play in the U.S., they will be licensed for release here later on as well.
