Knowing when the "Epic Mickey" Collector's Edition will be available should be a lot more useful to everyone now that the game from Junction Point and Disney Interactive Studios has an official release date set. Figurine Mickey, the behind-the-scenes DVD, their special packaging and the regular Everyman Edition of his new Wii title will appear in stores on November 30 in the U.S., several days after it ships to Europe on November 25 and the U.K. on November 26.
The date came via a report and trailer unveiled over at EW.com, which makes a case for how epic the iconic mouse's adventure will be.
The launch date won't put "Epic Mickey" on sale in time for Black Friday 2010, but it will put little guy on shelves in time for most of the holiday shopping season, and let's face it, if you're putting out the biggest new Mickey Mouse product of the year, you want it to be in front of families everywhere in the U.S. while they're doing their holiday shopping.
Pre-orders are of course already being taken by major retailers, so if you detest standing in long lines and visiting multiple shops during December only to discover that your game of choice is temporarily out of stock, you can always opt to put your name on a list right now.
