Is Bob Marley's 'Legend' Heading To 'Rock Band'?

Posted 9/13/10 4:03 pm EST by Brian Warmoth in News

Bob Marley Legend Rock Band

Bob Marley's "Get Up, Stand Up" has already been tagged for a slot among other international tracks in "Rock Band 3," but his full greatest hits album "Legend" could be on its way to "Rock Band" DLC as soon as September 21, according to some VH1 watchers.

The purported reveal came from some posters on Score Hero (via RockBandAide & Joystiq), who posted a few TV screen pictures of what they observed. If "Legend" is really coming, here are the songs you can probably expect to see in the "Rock Band" store:

1. "Is This Love"
2. "No Woman No Cry"
3. "Could You Be Loved"
4. "Three Little Birds"
5. "Buffalo Soldier"
6. "Get Up, Stand Up"
7. "Stir It Up"
8. "Easy Skanking"
9. "One Love/People Get Ready"
10. "I Shot the Sheriff"
11. "Waiting in Vain"
12. "Redemption Song"
13. "Satisfy My Soul"
14. "Exodus"
15. "Jamming"
16. "Punky Reggae Party"

This album has been through an assortment of editions and formats over the years, though, so if it is coming to "Rock Band," you may see a slightly different track list. However, even if there is one giant misunderstanding lurking beneath this news ready to snatch satisfaction away from Marley-loving "Rock Band" players everywhere, "Get Up, Stand Up" is still 100% official, so you can at the very least plan on playing through it in "RB3."

In the meantime, Snoop Dogg and his posse of hits will be there waiting for you in their entirety, whether or not the Marley rumors are proved or disproved.

Would you download all of "Legend" for "Rock Band"? What other Bob Marley tracks would you like to see? Share your recommendations in the comment section below.
