If you watch a lot of Discovery Channel, you're probably familiar with the name Bear Grylls. The unassuming Brit stars on "Man vs. Wild," a show about surviving in nature when you're, say, trapped on a tundra after an unfortunate base-jump skiing accident. Bear knows how to survive in a variety of these situations, and is more than happy to share his knowledge with the world. Crave Games even has a "Man vs. Wild" game coming out wherein you can attempt to live out Bear's greatest adventures, without the nasty downsides of having to eat bugs or perform surgery on yourself. You can check out some footage from the game right here.

Hopes that former Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella might announce their first project together as Respawn Entertainment at E3 this year turned out to be short lived. In fact, EA has revealed that they haven't even decided for sure yet what the game will be. EA Partners head David DeMartini indicated that he's looking forward to whatever they show up with, though, which comes as no surprise given that they used to head the studio that made "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."

Rapper Ice-T has been playing IO Interactive's "Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days," and he tweeted the following today: "Game is crazy ... Honestly it seems like one long shoot out with the cops."
That's a pretty dead-on accurate description of what players popping in the disc for the first time should expect. The game does some things better than others, but ultimately it comes down to running through a variety of settings, all of which are filled with cops (and occasional thugs) who are gunning to kill you. There are very few games I recommend to anyone who has an iPhone. "Fruit Ninja" was one of those games. The developers behind that gem have returned with their next title, "Monster Dash," and while it's probably not as accessible as "Fruit Ninja," it's still really addictive, well-made and, most importantly, a ton of fun.

"Castlevania: Lords of Shadow" and its special edition will land in North America on October 5, 2010, Konami has announced, so you'll have almost a month to practice whipping away at the undead before Halloween arrives.

For almost four years now Nintendo's Wii has been asking gamers to get up off the couch and play. Everything from sports games to barber shop simulators have been released and taking advantage of the system's innovative motion controls, but now, courtesy of third-party developer THQ, Wii owners will have the chance to sit back down and be artistic, courtesy of their recently announced uDraw GameTablet, which goes on sale in November.

Gears of War fans may have softer hearts than their gore content preferences might otherwise suggest. The latest update out of Xbox Live about their T-shirt-based vote on the fate of Clayton Carmine in "Gears of War 3" has "Save Carmine" beating "Carmine Must Die." So not only have voters been turning out to support Child's Play; they also want to see him live.
