Guerrilla Games will push ahead with one of their biggest launches ever in "Killzone 3" before moving on to their new unannounced franchise. With all of the hype stirred up by 3-D "Killzone 3" demo at E3, though, they're going to want to make sure the game works, and a new website looks like it will be just the place to register users for a public beta test.
Beta.Killzone.com won't let you get past a registration page currently, but it's timing just ahead of Gamescom in Cologne could mean that Guerrilla will announce some news there, as VG247 points out.
Whether or not 3-D functionality will be enabled, how long it will last and what kind of gameplay will be featured would all be great topics to bring up if you see GG representative walking around at the show, but it's also possible that they won't announce anything and that this website could remain untouched for another month. Surely they wouldn't have made it live without something ready to go into a press release though.
