Capcom's crossover fighting game announcements didn't stop at "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" character reveals at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The company hosted a panel that went beyond their own offices and unveiled "Street Fight X Tekken," which Capcom will produce and "Tekken X Capcom," which will come from Namco Bandai.

Comic-Con may be over, but we're still catching up on a few remnants we may have missed over the last insane week. For example, Kotaku snagged a bunch of shots of the soon-to-be-released "StarCraft 2" action figure collection.
The collection includes stills of Jim Raynor looking badass, a space marine looking badass and a Protoss templar looking badass. I'd say we have a pretty good trend going! Now all you need to do is click through the gallery really fast and it's like you're playing the game! Or you can just wait until tomorrow. Whatever does it for ya.

"LittleBigPlanet 2" got tagged for a November release at E3 in June, but now that the game has passed its alpha stage of development, Sony is ready to commit to November 16 as the official ship date. That news came with even more info about the extras available as exclusives through various retailers and inside the "LBP2" Collectors Edition.

Hey, so remember that crazy "Mega Man Universe" announcement trailer from last week? The one that basically teased the craziest Mega Man game ever made, complete with random Capcom cameos in claymation? Yeah, that one. Anyway, the implication was that we'd be hearing/seeing a lot more about the game at Comic-Con. Apparently "a lot" is a bit subjective, 'cause we haven't heard very much at all, save for a few words from Keiji Inafune during the Capcom panel. What he did say was interesting, though.

Neil Patrick Harris may never gets to appear in a "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" game, but he will get to reprise his role as Peter Parker for "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions." NPH previously voiced Spidey in 2003's "Spider-Man: The New Animated Series," and he'll be joined by several other veteran talents in Activision's trans-dimensional romp through Marvel universes.

Apple promised to go live with a free iPhone 4 case program during a special press conference last week, and they've now made good on their self-imposed end-of-the-week deadline. Apple's original bumper jacket, as well as a list of other alternatives are being offered as an antenna issue remedy without charge to current iPhone 4 owners and anyone who buys one by September 30.

The new Xbox 360 Slim bundles announced earlier this week won't be alone when "Halo: Reach" comes out in September. A $399.99 bundle with two controllers and a "Reach"-inspired design will be shipping as well.
The 250GB unit will come with a black headset, two controllers, a month of Xbox Live Gold Membership and a standard copy of "Reach," according to its listing on Amazon.com. It's nestled among those other bundle options we've seen before and comes with a release date of September 14 to coincide with the "Reach" launch. Additionally, pre-orders are being taken for the controllers ($59.99 each) and headsets ($49.99), which should be out in late August.

(Note: If you haven't finished "Alan Wake," you should definitely do so before reading this post.)
The ending of "Alan Wake" was quite the mindf***, and the prospect of waiting for a sequel that may never come to get some answers is frightening indeed. Enter the magic of episodic DLC. As it turns out, we only needed to wait two months to get some answers, as the first downloadable content, "The Signal," is coming out next week. I played through it last night, though, so you needn't even wait that long to get an idea of what to expect.

Ryan Reynolds' "Green Lantern" movie will get an accompanying video game for Summer 2011, which should not come as a shocker to anyone. Dubbed "Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters," the announcement from Warner Bros. Interactive came in time for San Diego Comic-Con, which is even less surprising.

Even though "Halo: Reach" drops in just under 2 months, Bungie has been particularly crafty about hiding the game's features from the public eye. Every time you think they've shown all there is to show, they whack you over the head with yet another whopper.
Comic-Con's big "Halo" news is related to the Forge. First introduced in "Halo 3," the Forge allowed people to customize multiplayer maps, choosing weapon and vehicle placements, dropping down crates and creating new modes. While the options were pretty vast, there were obvious limitations. Apart from crates and exploding barrels, you couldn't add or change the scenery in any of the maps. That changes in "Halo: Reach."
