The "Street Fighter 4" series may end with "Super Street Fighter 4," but that doesn't necessarily mean that Capcom is done adding new warriors to the their latest SF title. In fact, a new Japanese advertisement for the "Super Street Fighter 4" arcade machine contains a cryptic tease that may leave the door open for new challengers.
"Here comics new challengers?!" the flyer, which was posted on Kotaku, reads. Furthermore, the Japanese text there promises "The Appearance Of New Challengers!" as it's translated in the report.
Since newbies to "SSF4" like Ibuki and Dee Jay are already featured, it's entirely possible that a few more characters are being worked in.
It is of course also possible that the message is just targeted toward "Street Fighter 4" arcade machine players and the flyer just wants to make sure that they know these new guys and gals in the pictures have been added. Nevertheless, Capcom has every incentive to want to make the SF faithful leave their console games at home for an afternoon and pump some coins into their new units.
As long as Hakan appears, no matter what the case may be, the "SSF4" arcade edition will get my quarters whenever I see it.
Who would you like to see added if Capcom puts new challengers in "SSF4"? Do you want to see original characters? Share your responses in the comment section below.
