The Naked Sample of "Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D" was one of the biggest buzz items among Nintendo's 3DS announcements at E3. Kojima Productions clouded the nature of the project a bit, however, by using the term "sample." Now, Konami has countered by using a meatier description that will probably just stir the speculation pot some more.
"Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D" is in fact "a full product," a Konami representative told Eurogamer.
That sounds far more assertive that the terminology being emphasized from Kojima's wing of the development process.
"We can't say one way or the other whether or not something like that will come out on the 3DS," Kojima Productions assistant producer Sean Eyestone said on the Kojima Productions Podcast. "At this point we can't say anything. But what we did show at E3 was a sample of what we can do with the 3DS."
As far as the titles, subtitles and sample titles go, what any officially announced Metal Gear Solid title for the 3DS in the future will go by on its box is anyone's guess. A sample exists, and a full product exists, though, or so Konami hopes.
