'Okamiden' Chibiterasu Plush Will Gradually Replace Your Real Friends

Posted 7/1/10 5:13 pm EST by Brian Warmoth in News

Okamiden plush

If you happen to have 5040 yen lying around and need a comfy plush companion to watch you play your DS, Capcom seems to have taken care of that issue by making a plush Chibiterasu and putting it up for sale. You will have to navigate some Japanese to get there, but the "Okami" games have always been about stimulating your creativity and exploration skills.

The cuddly little cub can be found on E-Capcom.com, where it was spotted by GoNintendo. I would also think that if you're the kind of person who hugs far more than your friends usually find comfortable, this little guy would be a great solution to that dilemma as well.

You'll have to use your own Japanese expertise to determine whether or not you'll be able to get it delivered before "Okamiden" comes out in the U.S. in 2011, but if it does, he will also keep you company while you wait, drawing little symbols on your black, lonely DS screen. Here's a link back to an early trailer if you have no idea what I'm talking about.

Do you want a Chibiterasu plush? Do you already have enough people in your life to hug? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
