'inFamous 2' Now Famously Official

Now that "inFamous 2" has been overtly teased on an an upcoming Game Informer cover as well as in a Portuguese ad, it's probably safe to call this project a real deal.

A redesigned Cole MacGrath in a new city with new powers and a new enemy will all be included in the sequel, according to a report on GameInformer.com. That should give Sony plenty of content to post about at that inFamous2TheGame.com domain they purchased.

Sucker Punch loaded "inFamous" up with a generous package of abilities the first time around, so just how many more they can imagine will be fun to observe. As for Cole's new look, it looks like he's been taking better care of himself since the last game. The first big question, however, will be how his refurbished appearance fits into the story — or if it gets explained at all.

With Game Informer's new issue and E3 just over the horizon, there should be plenty of information in the near future to dissect for such answers, though. Perhaps "inFamous 2" will even introduce the in-game stylist he's been visiting.
