The first "Deus Ex"? Amazing. The second one? Not quite as terrible as everyone thought, but definitely didn't live up to the high standards set by the first. The third one? Who knows! But the latest trailer for the game certainly looks pretty.
It shows off the game's hero, Adam Jensen, becoming the half-man, half-machine super soldier that we know and love from this franchise. The tenants of "Deus Ex," specifically a focus on storytelling, player choice and character advancement, will all be in "Human Revolution," but whether these elements come together to make a great game is still unknown. Eidos recently had a presentation for the game in LA, but that was just focused on giving the background of the art design and didn't feature any actual gameplay. Hopefully E3 will be a bit more forthcoming.
