SCEA bought that nice "inFamous 2" domain name earlier this year, so it only figures that they may be cooking something up to put at that address. If there is an "inFamous" sequel coming soon, it has probably just been teased in a Portuguese print advertisement. If not, something very similar to an "inFamous" sequel has probably just been teased in a Portuguese print advertisement.
An image that appears to show the super-powered "inFamous" star Cole McGrath's eyes slipped into a new issue of Portugal's equivalent to PlayStation: The Official Magazine, judging from some photos posted by Scrawl. The report translated the ad copy there as reading, "The announcement of a great PlayStation 3 exclusive sequel in the next ROPS." If that acronym just confused you, don't worry; it just stands for the magazine's Portuguese title.
As has been the case with several budding pre-announcement surprises in the last few weeks, the timing of this ad in relation to E3 is likely not coincidental, so if you're keeping score somewhere with a rundown of games various companies are liable to introduce at this month's show, scribble this one's title next SCEA.
