Google hasn't followed through with their plans to host gaming through YouTube just yet, but they're one step closer today thanks to some announcements about the online web app store for their Chrome browser and OS. "Plants. vs. Zombies" and "Lego Star Wars" will be among the high-profile titles hopping into their marketplace, thus continuing the "PvZ" romp toward conquering every platform known to mankind.

Even if you have to wait for DLC when "Blur" launches on May 25, you'll still be able to snatch an exclusive chrome BMW Series 1 right away if you buy the new combat racing game at Kmart or Sears. Those may not be retailers that you typically associate with such exclusive content, but you probably didn't know Kmart had its own gaming blog either.

When EA Sports announced their new Online Pass system premiering with "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11," gamers took notice, but so did the rest of the industry. EA's move, which charges used game purchasers for access to online play and other features, could be the boldest move yet by a publisher to generate revenue from otherwise profitless secondhand sales. Ubisoft in particular took some notes and said as much in an official capacity this week.

"No More Heroes" creator Goichi Suda loves new control systems, and as the "NMH" series has demonstrated, he also likes Star Wars' lightsabers. He's already committed to developing for Project Natal and the PlayStation Move. The guy apparently just can't say no to new technology, and his latest love, the Nintendo 3DS, may have him thinking about another George Lucas-inspired concept.

By now, you've guided John Marston through most of the starting area in New Austin. You've hunted, you've gotten some supplies, you've probably taken on a gang hideout or two. Still, all of your efforts amount to too much time for not enough cash. That's where bounty hunting comes in.
Your main target is Bill Williamson of course, but occasionally you'll have an opportunity to bring some other scumbag to justice for the crimes he's committed. There's good money to be had in bounty hunting, especially if you can bring your target in alive. It seems like a daunting task initially, but it's actually quite simple once you figure out how things work.

Thanks to a new trailer, we can say without hesitation that Treyarch's "Call of Duty: Black Ops" will not only have dedicated servers for PC multiplayer modes; it will also come with a whole lot of skepticism about everything you think you know, no matter what platform you pick it up for.

The jetpack-wearing opossum is back. Last week Climax Studios launched "Rocket Knight," its next-generation "Sparkster," across all major downloadable platforms. The simple name conjures the idea of revival, but this isn't "Medal of Honor" two-heart-thumpers-applied-to-disc type of resuscitation. For better or worse -- and it does lean towards worse -- "Rocket Knight" clings to its retro formula.

Did you get involved in EA Playfish's free-to-play "My Empire" title when it was released on 13 May? No? Not even heard of it? That's because the publisher hasn't included any information on their official website. Although this is the norm for Playfish, the game is already available for users to start playing.

Epic Games sees a lot of Project Natal in their future as developers, and they've been notoriously hesitant to bring the Gears of War series back to the PC, at least in part because of piracy. That doesn't change the fact that their head honcho expects to see his industry focus a lot more on PC gaming very soon.
