'Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock' Release Date, According To Amazon

Posted 5/25/10 6:00 pm EST by Brian Warmoth in News, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360

Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock

The new "back to basics" Guitar Hero game that Neversoft has been honing their Project Natal skills to develop appears to have an all-new subtitle and pre-order prices set for a September 21 release. "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" now shows up on Amazon.com with Standard, Guitar and Super bundles available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

The Super Bundle will run you $179.99 on the 360 or Wii, according to the guaranteed pre-order prices on Amazon. Penny pinchers will notice that the PS3 Super Bundle will save you a whole 9 cents, though, as it comes tagged at only $179.90. That's 9 cents that you can invest in your college education, retirement or many other things. Every other bundle has the same price point across all three platforms, with the Guitar Bundle costing $99.99 and the stand-alone game running $59.99.

Someone may have just hit the wrong key when entering those Super Bundles into the system, so grab those 9-cent savings while you can. With Gene Simmons narrating the "Quest Mode" in this title, it should be a rock adventures for the ages.

Do you plan on pre-ordering "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock"? What do you think of the title? Share your expectations and opinions in the comment section below.
