When Activision's newest racing game, "Blur," is released on May 25th, it's going to be packed with a lot of features. The game includes everything from well Twitter integration to the long-lost four-player split screen mode, which should make racing game fans very happy. However, amongst the power-ups and nine tiers of rivals to work your way through in the solo campaign, there is one feature that you won't find in the single-player campaign of "Blur": time travel.

Bizarre Creations has a predilection for racing games, and they've already moved into combat/action racing for their new title "Blur." The studio had previously been mentioned in connection with a James Bond driving game, though, and a British retail listing has now predicted that a game called "James Bond: Bloodstone" will be available at some point in the future.

No one ever said that Luigi would stay away from "Super Mario Galaxy 2." In all of the hubbub about level details and enhanced co-op play, though, his brother has been the one in the spotlight. If you were among those fearing that the green Mario brother might have slipped out the back door following the first "Mario Galaxy," rest easy, because Nintendo has presented evidence that he does in fact have a role.

Former Infinity Ward bosses Jason West and Vince Zampella named unpaid bonuses among their grievances against Activision after they were dismissed in March. The massive commercial success Activision's studio experienced with "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" produced plenty of money, but the bonuses West and Zampella believe to be theirs will now be going other employees. This much was confirmed by Activision in an explanation of the company's current incentive system to keep talent around at IW.

Remedy Entertainment just couldn't wait for Xbox Live's rumored TV channel to premier to produce their first live-action XBL show. "Alan Wake" the game comes out on May 18, and a new TV series spin-off called "Bright Falls" will premier on XBL shortly thereafter to explain some of the back story. Setting a mystery tale in a remote woodland town already begs for "Twin Peaks" comparisons, but Remedy's announcement for the project goes a step further and explains how they want people to understand what they're doing.

While traveling for work last week, I brought along my iPad. Usually, before a trip, I'll load up my iPhone or laptop with video to keep me entertained during the long, uncomfortable flight, but my fancy new device gave me a good excuse to put it through its travel paces. Turns out the iPad and flying are basically friends for life.
If you've ever tried to use a laptop on a plane, you know how terrible it can be. A video-capable handheld like the iPhone isn't great, either, as you basically have to hold it in front of you, since the screen is so small. The iPad, however, is perfect. Well, almost perfect...but we'll get to the flaw in a bit.

Like Dudley, "Super Street Fighter 4" ninja Ibuki has her share of ravenous fans. But unlike Dudley, she doesn't get her picture on the game's box art. Perhaps part of that reason is due to her bland, tan, and masked getup that hasn't changed much since her days in "Street Fighter 3." Or, just maybe, it's because she's one of the hardest characters to master in this latest iteration.

The entertaining rivalry between "Left 4 Dead" and "Dead Rising" kicked off with an achievement in the first "L4D." The Zombie Genocidest achievement demanded that players "kill" 53,595 Infected in the game. A strange number, but not when you recall that "Dead Rising" had its own achievement, Zombie Genocider, which demanded a kill count of 53,594.
Valve's sassy ways continue in the new DLC for "Left 4 Dead 2," "The Passing." The above pic, snapped by Nintendo Tim (his legal name) over at Destroyed Controller, shows the fate of everyone's favorite war-covering journalist. The message is written on the wall in the pool hall of Chapter 2.
Otis,
Out of film, No Helicopter
Zombies are too fast.
Not going to make it,
Frank West
It's true, the zombies in "Left 4 Dead" are way faster than the shambling and brainless of Willamette. Poor Frank, he never stood a chance.
Now how will Blue Castle Games, the developers of "Dead Rising 2" strike back? A Bill outfit hidden in the game would just about make my day.

Acting like a god is one of my favorite private pastimes, so of course ngmoco's "Godfinger" was one of my first App Store downloads. Surprisingly, the harvest simulation is more of a thrill than declaring imaginary edicts in front of a closet mirror. Who would have thought?

An image supposedly leaked from an unreleased ad may not have known that Drew Brees would cover "Madden 11," but it does appear to know that "Halo: Reach" will ship in three different packages. The ad, spotted by a poster at Cheap Ass Gamer, seems to be the same one scanned over at Planet Xbox 360 from the looks of things, and the sites were definitely privy to the same rumored info.
