Weekly DLC should keep Ubisoft busy with "Splinter Cell: Conviction" for a while going forward, but they have at least two more Tom Clancy games in works behind closed doors. The titles remain guarded secrets, but the revelation means Ubisoft could have a big question mark above its Clancy lineup going into E3.
"At this moment I'm working on two Tom Clancy games which have just gone in development," Ubisoft brand manager Michel Verheijdt told the Dutch site Control Online, according to a translation at Eurogamer. "I can't say anything about it, or I'll have to send Sam Fisher after you."
"Ghost Recon: Future Soldier" is set for a fall release, as Eurogamer points out. That means an EndWar, HAWX or Rainbow Six-branded game could be next up, unless Ubisoft pulls something out of left field. I wouldn't be disappointed if a "Tom Clancy's Net Force" game were a possibility as well, but I understand if the world isn't read yet for a PlayStation 3 game about Scott Bakula fighting Internet crime. If that's not an untapped billion-dollar franchise, though, I don't know what is.
