The Xbox Live release has been hailed as one of the best tower defense games available in recent years, but may have put many off due to its emphasis on strategy and forward-thinking. Players were tasked with placing and taking control of an army's most powerful weaponry, aiming to eliminate the incoming threat before it overran their base. "Match Defense: Toy Soldiers" is more of a "Bejeweled" type release, as it tasks players with matching up as many triplets of same colored bottle caps as possible. Often sets of five will turn into a runway for your air support to take off from, all of which plays out on the battlefield above your ever-changing board.
