"Splinter Cell: Conviction" saw Ubisoft carve its release date in stone when they decided it would launch on April 13th, 2010. That meant pressing forward and leaving a few ideas by the wayside, but one of the game's developers wants to keep his scrapped notes handy when the time comes to produce DLC.
"There's a couple of other things, but I'm not really willing to share because there's always the option of DLC to do some stuff — and we've got some notes already for the future," creative director Maxime Beland told GameTrailers.com.
Now that the game is finished and ready to ship, DLC is something they can think about. Beland specifically named dead body toting as one of the activities he'd like to re-introduce.
"The number one thing that I would have liked to bring back for the fans is obviously carrying dead bodies," he said. "It's not something we needed to do at all for the new gameplay, but I know a lot of fans would have liked that and I would have liked to have been able to do it. We basically didn't have time so we weren't able to pull it off."
