Behold some rather impressive-looking gameplay footage taken from "Street Fighter 4" for the iPhone by the folks at GamePro. The handheld release is scheduled to drop on the App Store in March at a price of $10, which slots it alongside premium titles like "Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars."
The gameplay footage seems to stick pretty close to the tenants of the franchise, complete with super combos and wireless multiplayer. It also shows, briefly, which characters will be playable in the iPhone version. Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, Blanka, Dhalsim, Abel, M. Bison and Guile are the world warriors this time around, though it's possible more characters will be unlockable or purchasable as DLC.

Warner Bros, knowing a good thing when they see one, has decided to buy a majority stake in Rocksteady Studios. You undoubtedly know Rocksteady's work as the developer of last year's Game of the Year (at least according to me), "Batman: Arkham Asylum."
The news isn't exactly a huge shock. "Arkham Asylum" did tremendously well, both critically and commercially, and a new sequel is already on the way. Also, unlike the first game, which Warner published jointly with Eidos, "Arkham Asylum 2" is going to be handled solely by Warner Bros, which probably isn't very interested in sharing the wealth of a successful franchise with its competitors.

Update: Gearbox is saying that the 360 release of "General Knoxx" has been pushed to Wednesday. PSN should still be on track for Thursday, though.
Original Story: The next (and largest) DLC pack for "Borderlands" is hitting Xbox Live today, with a PSN release coming this Thursday. Priced at $10, it is said to be considerably more epic than the previous DLC packs, including a wide variety of new features and content:

Mistakes on résumés and online profiles happen all of the time, but unlike accidental "Single" or "In an Open Relationship" listings on Facebook, LinkedIn profile errors can cause more than just your significant other to wonder what you've been up to. "NBA Jam" was announced "for the Nintendo Wii" in January, and since then it's been assumed to be a Wii exclusive. One of the game's engineers at EA indicated it might be more than that on her profile, however, before questions showed up and those details were changed to corroborate Wii-only plans.

We're more than a year removed from the last episode of "On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness," the downloadable game series based on the the widely popular web-comic, "Penny Arcade." Since "Rain-Slick Episode 2" was released, we've heard nary a peep from the duo at the helm of "Penny Arcade," but it seems like that silence will be coming to an end sooner rather than later. When asked by MTV News about the status of "Rain-Slick Episode 3," Jerry Holkins, the writer of the web-comic, said the following:

Just got a terse email from "Meat Boy" co-creator Edmund McMillen, which linked to the above image. Not too many ways to interpret this one: "Super Meat Boy" is coming to Xbox Live Arcade in 2010. Awesome, awesome news.
"Super Meat Boy" has already been announced for WiiWare and PC, so its appearance on XBLA is just gravy.
If you're unfamiliar with "Super Meat Boy," check out some gameplay footage after the break:

Dudley, Ibuki and Makoto, those "Street Fighter 3" characters who appeared in "Super Street Fighter 4" screenshots last week, now look quite a bit more official, as Capcom included them in a barrage of fresh trailers and images. The clips show off Dee Jay and T. Hawk as well as some hot Ultra combos from a classy, rose-sniffing English boxer.

Valve sees potential in the future of motion controllers, but at least one of the studio's writers doesn't sound so optimistic about developers' abilities to make use of new interface technology. Project Natal and the PS3 motion controller Sony will show off at GDC mean that such control schemes won't be confined to the Wii anymore as of the 2010 holiday season. That's going to put pressure on studios to do better than recycled carnival games on their new titles, though.

We've already spoken to Sony Santa Monica regarding just how long they expect it'll take people to finish "God of War 3." But just how BIG is it? And by size I mean actual bits and bytes. Well, according to Tim Moss, the director of technology at the studio, it's very big. Moss wrote the following in his Twitter this weekend:

Before being picked up by 2K Game's "Play" label, "The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom" was a student's award-winning media thesis. But now it's an Xbox LIVE Arcade release. And one hell of a breath of fresh air.
The Basics
Echoed by the game's monochrome veneer, a macabre yet daring existence does the game's protagonist, P.B. Winterbottom, live. He's a sharp-nosed pie thief in a world of shadows. But after he eats a miraculous time-bending pie, it's transformed into a world rife with puzzles, platforms, magic, wit, and mystery.
Time is the cornerstone. In the five black-and-white worlds, you'll steer P.B. through an assortment of environmental puzzles, using a record function to set a "clone" of himself loose that can interact with the level simultaneously. Each new place builds on the previous, pleasantly distorting the game's fundamentals: jumping, slamming buttons, flipping gears, and acting as a stepping stool or even a football -- all in the name of pie-thievery, of course.
