Normandy Crash, the "Mass Effect 2" mission that showed up prematurely on the Xbox Live Marketplace Monday, reappeared on schedule today. The rest of BioWare's Cerberus Network-linked DLC wasn't so fortunate, however, as the new mercenary character Zaeed has been delayed.

"2010 FIFA World Cup" comes as no surprise to anyone, but EA Sports has now made the game official and released a screenshot to accompany a few early details. Their marketing machine can now begin figuring out how to draft behind their "FIFA 10" sales numbers while everyone else waits for some action shots and further info.

There are plenty of genres that are lacking on the Wii. From role playing games to first person shooters, the console simply doesn't offer as diverse of a lineup as its competitors. However, there is one genre that stands out above and beyond all the others, as being the most neglected: fighting games. Yes, there's the reining king, "Super Smash Bros. Brawl," but other than that, there were only a handful of titles, and most of them weren't that noteworthy (the overwhelming majority have "Naruto" in the title) until now. Capcom has just released their first entry in their hallowed Vs. series in years, and it's on Nintendo's little white wonder. "Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars" is looking to fill that gap with a quality title from a company that knows a thing or two about fighting.

After relative silence, save for a teaser video, Bungie has unveiled a ton of new screenshots from the much-anticipated first person shooter, "Halo: Reach." Along with the 27 new shots, and a handful of new concept art, Bungie also updated the "Personnel" section of the site, which reveals some of the team members you'll be interacting with.

"Lost Planet 2" saw its release date postponed earlier this month, but now that it has officially been reassigned to May 18, Capcom seems willing to begin rolling out teases. The first big one comes with news that the two main characters from "Gears of War" will appear courtesy of Epic Games.

When we last left Commander Shepard, he (or she, depending on your preference) had just saved all of civilization from an evil alien race who exist only to wipe all life from the galaxy every 50,000 years. Cheerful. "Mass Effect 2" picks up a couple years later and, wouldn't you know it? Things are still pretty grim.

Dr. Phil confronted a "FarmVille"-loving mother named Teresa about her duties to her children recently, and he thinks she would be better served to go out and "start a garden for real." I'm sure everyone reading this knows somebody who spends a just a little too much time playing Zynga's crop-tending Facebook game, but this guest took her obsession off the deep end to the point where she was sabotaging the family computer when others tried to use it.

Seems like we haven't seen the last of new content on the planet of Pandora. No, not that Pandora. The Pandora which plays host to the events of "Borderlands," one of my favorite games of 2009. In a posting on the Gearbox official forums, game designer Jason Reiss revealed that more content is on the way, and that the team has been listening to fans with regards to what people are looking for. Level cap increase? You better believe it.
Here's the full posting from Reiss:

"Monster Hunter Tri" may be ditching friend codes on the Wii, but it will be gaining new controller in North America. The game, which hits the U.S. in April, will come bundled with a black beauty previously only available in Japan called the Classic Controller Pro.

Heralding the official "Mass Effect 2" street date tomorrow, last-minute news and rumors have been shooting around the Internet faster than you can click refresh above your Google Reader items. In addition to an official announcement that used copies of the game would be penalized with a $15 fee to access the otherwise free Cerberus network for new items and DLC, unofficial sources lit up the Internet this morning with word that some "ME2" DLC showed up early without a price on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
