Sheep Man's Fellow 'Mega Man 10' Bosses Unveiled

Posted 1/13/10 5:00 pm EST by Brian Warmoth in News, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360

Mega Man 10

"Mega Man 10" has a rich legacy of ridiculous and well designed bosses to satisfy, but thanks to an overseas reveal, Capcom's development team has my seal of approval. I don't want to spoil anything more for you if you're waiting to play the game, but all eight Robot Masters will be listed after you make the jump.

The "Mega Man 10" baddies' names were leaked at CES, according to The Mega Man Network, but a splash in the Japanese publication CoroCoro officially broke news of their identities with visuals.

Commando Man, Blade Man, Nitro Man, Sheep Man, Solar Man, Chill Man, Pump Man and Strike Man will be the robots to beat when the Blue Bomber comes back to consoles in March. You'll likely have to wait at least until then to know which order to fight them in, but their attacks are described in the rundown.

Nitro Man sounds like my favorite on the list, as he transforms into a motorcycle. Blade Man wields three swords, and the others have elemental and/or projectile weapons thematically linked to their names. Actually, that doesn't necessarily apply to Sheep Man, whose power is to shoot lightning bolts and split himself up. Firing sheep may have sparked PETA protests though, and Capcom may not want that kind of publicity.

What do you think of the new Robot Masters? How does the "Mega Man 10" lineup rank compared to past games? Share your reactions in the comment section below.
