EA came out strong last week in support of Tiger Woods despite the recent media firestorm surrounding his car accident and alleged marital infidelities. An editorial yesterday by Forbes editor Mike Ozanian, however, predicted that both EA and Gillette would be forced to drop Tiger as they and other companies begin reevaluating their celebrity athlete sponsorship deals. EA responded, saying that their previous position stands.

Sony now says that "God of War 3" is effectively "complete" if you don't count the changes they'll be making during play-testing. Longtime Transformers followers will recognize the setting for Activision's latest announcement as neither the world of Michael Bay's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," nor the 1980s cartoon series. Instead, "Transformers: War for Cybertron" flashes back to the pre-Earth lives of the Autobots and Decepticons on their home planet.
