"Super Street Fighter 4" has already been confirmed to be bringing back a few faces from "Super Street Fighter Alpha 3" among its new fighters. The updated roster, which was previously believed to be expanding its tournament by six characters, now appears to be adding ten, however.
Four blank slots appeared on the "Super Street Fighter 4" character select screen during a live Famitsu stream demoing the game, according to EventHubs.com.
Given that the demo represents an early build of "SSF4," the possibility lingers that those blank slots may go away entirely when the game ships. The headshot spaces may be blank because their fighters need to be unlocked, or they may just be placeholders for contestants who haven't been greenlit yet.
Right now, the official rundown of warriors added since "SF4" includes Juri, Dee Jay, T. Hawk and Adon, as well as "Final Fight" stars Cody and Guy. Those picks have already shown that Capcom went into "SSF4" open to both creating new fighters and pooling from past games, which makes the identities of those black circles' ultimate occupants anyone's guess.
Who would you like to see Capcom include in "SSF4"? Should they stick with established characters or continue to branch out with new ones? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
