'RAGE' To Be Published By Bethesda Softworks

When ZeniMax (parent company of Bethesda Softworks) acquired Id Software back in June, it was a little strange. After all, EA was still planning on publishing "RAGE," the next major release from the "DOOM" developer, and the acquisition wasn't going to change that.

Well, it seems like it has, as ZeniMax will now be publishing "RAGE" under Bethesda Softworks, basically severing any remaining ties that Id had with EA. It's probably a smart move, given that Id Software games don't exactly come around too often, and for such a major release, you kinda want to reap the rewards yourself, rather than fund a competitor.

But, in terms of the game, it probably makes no difference whatsoever (apart from the Bethesda logo on the box). So yeah, do with that what you will.
