Trophies Hint At Next 'Borderlands' DLC Pack

Posted 12/9/09 6:17 pm EST by Russ Frushtick in News, PC, PS3, Xbox 360

Borderlands

PS3 Trophies has stumbled upon what appears to be the unlockable trophy list for the next "Borderlands" DLC pack. Looking at the list, it seems like the next pack will be arena-centric. Here's the rundown:

(Bronze) Small Tournament - Completed the lesser challenge in all 3 coliseums
(Silver) Hell-Burbia - Completed the larger challenge in the Hell-Burbia coliseum
(Silver) The Angelic Ruins - Completed the larger challenge in The Angelic Ruins coliseum
(Silver) The Gully - Completed the larger challenge in The Gully coliseum
(Gold) Big Tournament - Completed each of the larger challenges in all 3 coliseums

While I enjoyed the 6 arena quests in the main game, they weren't exactly what I would call meaty experiences. Hopefully the next pack will follow the same path at the recently released and enjoyable "Zombie Island of Doctor Ned," giving us a guided look into a brand new part of Pandora, rather than, you know, tossing a bunch of raiders at you in an enclosed area.

Thus far Gearbox has given us no reason to doubt their work, so I'll remain optimistic. FOR NOW.
