"Assassin's Creed 2" was one of my favorite games of the year, but it's not without its problems. Apart from the head-scratching ending, it seems that there's a glitch that will bring Ezio's progress to a screaming halt, corrupting a valuable save game in the process.
According to CVG, shutting down the console after completing Session 11 will cause the player to be booted back to the present day hideout with no objectives or objects to interact with. It's basically a dead end.
So, fair warning. If you're spending some quality time plowing through the game this holiday season, make sure you complete a mission or two after you finish up Session 11. Or you could just wait until Ubisoft releases a patch, which they're already working on.
