Nore More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise

Goichi Suda won't be waiting until the next generation of consoles to take "No More Heroes" off of the Wii after all. "No More Heroes 2" will launch for Nintendo's system in 2010, but a new port of its predecessor titled "No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise" will also hit stores for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

It's surely no accident that the same week that ushered in Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm for the Xbox 360 now features Facebook's integrated arrival to the PlayStation 3. The social networking site is accessible as of today through the PS3's version 3.10 firmware update, which installs a tailored application and opens up a host of options for broadcasting your activities to contacts.

Left 4 Dead 2

There's no denying that the original "Left 4 Dead" hit the nail on the head with its fantastic blend of action, suspense, and co-operative play. And here we are just one short year later with a follow-up that Valve promises delivers much, much more: more locations, more weapons, more infected, and more variety is the name of the game in "Left 4 Dead 2." So does the core gameplay still shine with all the extra trimmings there hiding it from view?

Storm8

Earlier this month, a class-action lawsuit in San Francisco accused iPhone game developer Storm8 of selling games with "malicious software code" and violating the App Store's privacy policies, which Apple articulated for us. Storm8 has now issued an official response to the accusations on its forums, where a company spokesperson argues they have done everything in their power to right the situation.

"Assassin's Creed 2" features a character that may remind you of a certain mushroom-loving plumber. Check out the video above for his amusing introduction. I guess you could consider it an easter egg-ish spoiler, but it has no direct connection to the game's plot, so no worries there.

Left 4 Dead 2

"Left 4 Dead 2" drops today and you may be one of many out there that's itching to grab a copy and jump online. Before I get to posting my review, I need to spend a bit more time with the game post-release to really see how the game handles with the countless servers running the whole zombie apocalypse show.

I only say this because this past weekend on Xbox Live I ran into an enemy more deadly and more terrifying than "Left 4 Dead 2's" own Witch or Tank infected. If you can't tell from the headline above, I'm talking about lag.

Metroid Prime

Producer Kensuke Tanabe already stated that Retro Studios' "Metroid Prime" series may not be over, but now that their trilogy on the Wii is complete they could be focusing on a return to the Nintendo DS. Such a project would be well timed for the DS XL's arrival in North America.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

The "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" airport scene may have stirred up hostilities in Russia, but Activision denies that the game was banned and claims a censored version of the game was already prepared for the Russian market. The company says that decision came without government pressure and was made internally.
