Rumors are circulating today that EA will be closing Pandemic Studios, the development house known for their work on the "Mercenaries" franchise, "Star Wars: Battlefront" and their upcoming game, "The Saboteur."
I reached out to an insider who works at Pandemic, who, under the condition of anonymity, said that he's pretty much expecting the rumors to verified once he arrives at the office at around 9:30am PST. He went on to say that staff members have heard that the three founders of Pandemic, Josh Resnick, Andrew Goldman and Greg Borrud, were let go by EA earlier this week.
I expect the official word to come down soon, but right now the future isn't looking too bright for yet another talented development house.
