Speaking with Chair Entertainment's co-founder, Donald Mustard, I was curious about their future plans, for "Shadow Complex" but also for their next game. Turns out there's not much going on in terms of "Shadow Complex" DLC, but their next project has already jumped into the design phase:

Mickey

Disney's new surrealist surprise "Epic Mickey" keeps trickling peeks and info out into the Internet, and this week's big reveal is the much-hyped retro design treatment for the game's title mouse. While Disney villains in the game appear to be getting a stripped-down, animatronic steam-punk look, Mickey's design goes back to his early animation roots.

Grand Theft Auto IV

India may already be a nuclear power with one of the world's biggest film industries, but the country has now added a new crown jewel to its collection -- a Guinness World Record for "Grand Theft Auto IV." 26-year-old Chirantan Patnaik now owns the official record for longest continuous play session on "GTA IV" thanks to certification from Guinness World Records (and a long-lasting PlayStation 3).

Borderlands

Since it comes at the end of my somewhat lengthy review, and it's the question I've gotten most from readers, I wanted to clarify just how long it took me to play through "Borderlands" with a single character. Keep in mind that this doesn't include New Game Plus, which allows you to replay the game with new enemy types and better loot. This is just the first time through, from the start of the game to the credits.

Pixel Junk Monsters Deluxe

"Pixel Junk Monsters Deluxe," which looks a heck of a lot better on the PSP's screen than it does in the above screenshot, has apparently fallen to the fate experienced by most PSP software: Obscenely high rates of piracy. Dylan Cuthbert, the president of Q-Games (the Pixel Junk developer), made a brief Twitter post talking about his disappointment:

Super Street Fighter 4

Looking to get an early jump on your T. Hawk skills? Capcom is reviving their secret Fight Clubs in honor of "Super Street Fighter 4." As usual the address is super secret, but you can email Capcom and try to score an invite. "Super Street Fighter 4" will probably be the star of the show (with T. Hawk, Dee Jay and Juri as playable characters), but don't forget "Tatsonoko vs. Capcom," which will also have new playable characters like Zero and Joe the Condor.

Xbox 360 memory

The number of unauthorized Xbox 360 memory devices that are compatible with Microsoft's console is about to get crunched. A new system update coming to the system will cripple any plugged in hardware that Microsoft hasn't approved, and save files could suffer if they happen to get caught in the crossfire.

Shigeru Miyamoto was in town last week to talk about "New Super Mario Bros. Wii," but we couldn't help but ask him about the new Zelda game that was teased at the last E3. We're not talking about "Spirit Tracks," we're talking about the follow-up to "Twilight Princess," whatever/whenever that may be.

He didn't say much, but he did say something, starting at 40 seconds in (before which he's just talking about "Spirit Tracks").

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

More than 60,000 supporters thus far have shown up to petition for dedicated "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" servers following Infinity Ward's confirmation over the weekend that it would use a player-to-player matchmaking system, much like what's used for Xbox Live and PSN play. The program, called IWnet, provoked responses from PC server supporters, eventually resulting in the petition directed toward Infinity Ward.

Mario

In an announcement that should surprise no one, Nintendo has a new unnamed Mario game in the works, and it's at least to the stage in development where they're gathering its acting talent. Charles Martinet, the bubbly voice behind Mario, Luigi, Wario and Baby Mario, leaked a no-longer secret Nintendo project from his Twitter account over the weekend, and his red-hatted plumber will appear.
