Rumors of non-exclusivity erupted after EA's Russian website posted listings for PlayStation 3 copies of "Left 4 Dead 2" and "Mass Effect 2," but EA has now crushed those hopes like so many recyclable cans, so expect to see them sticking to the Xbox 360 in the console marketplace. Apparently, someone in Europe just made a mistake somewhere along the line, and the titles will remain tied to the 360 and PC.

Speaking with MTV News, director Sam Raimi dropped some interesting info regarding his upcoming "WarCraft" movie, saying that the screenwriting process has just begun:
"We want to be really faithful to the game...to the Horde and the Alliance and the mythology that takes place in the game, and the archetypes that the game presents. I think we would try and find touchstones within the game to make it accurate and true and choose one or some of the lands that are portrayed in the game with as much accuracy and authenticity as possible.
"But we would have our writer, Robert Rodat, really craft an original story within that world that feels like a 'World of WarCraft' adventure. Only obviously it's very different 'cause it's expanded and translated into the world of a motion picture."

Some carefully planned in-movie marketing may have given away some unofficial details about "Resistance 3" this week. A snapshot shows a billboard left at a recent filming location for the Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez movie "Battle: Los Angeles." If this billboard is actually being used to advertise the next "Resistance" sequel, it's a fair bet that the game's launch will correlate with that film's February 2011 release date. Furthermore, the logo appears to show a silhouetted Statue of Liberty in the middle, indicative of some New York City involvement in the game.

Eliza Dushku spoke with MTV last week about potentially making a movie based on "Wet," the action shooter video game she recently starred in. But being in a video game and enjoying video games are two very different things. Eliza, it turns out, ain't frontin', as she admitted to growing up with plenty of classic video games.
Personally I got the most enjoyment out of her pronunciation of "Mario Brothers," which made it sound like her and them go way back.

Being a Playstation loyalist of sorts, I didn't play "Ninja Gaiden 2" when it was released last year for the Xbox 360, so Tecmo's "Sigma" version of the game for Playstation 3 is my first experience with warrior ninja Ryu Hyabusa's latest adventure.
Like 2007's "Ninja Gaiden Sigma," "Sigma 2" is filled with beautifully rendered landscapes, well-tuned fighting, a wide range of weapons and abilities, and some of the most impressive boss battles you'll find in the PS3 library, but it's the ways in which it differs from its predecessor that make it a great game instead of just a good sequel.

"Project Runway" hosts Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn may both be involved in Atari's latest reality-TV-to-gaming project. Weinstein Co. will collaborate with Atari to bring its seminal fashion-design competition to the Nintendo Wii, using the Remote Controller and that Balance Board that Beyoncé is so fond of for its interface, and that game may be out as soon as next spring.

Epic Games' love affair with the Xbox 360 seems to be a longterm commitment at this point. The "Gears of War" and "Shadow Complex" makers don't know exactly what they want to do with Project Natal's peripherals just yet, but according to one of their VP's, the question isn't if Epic with use Natal, but rather how much they will employ its controls in future releases.

In last night's episode of GameTrailers TV, a bunch of new details were revealed about the Special Ops mode in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2." For starters, there will be 23 different Special Ops maps, allowing you to get a maximum of 3 ranking stars for each (for a total of 69).

EA announced today that they've tapped Tyler Bates to compose the score for "Army of Two: The 40th Day." Bates has worked in Hollywood for some time, and has dabbled in video game music, but only for movie projects like "300" and "The Watchmen." "Army of Two" is the first time he's creating a unique score for a video game, and he's hoping it'll be a doozy. When we spoke with him, Bates had some interesting thoughts on video game music, and what he thinks he can bring to the franchise:
