Today there is one more way to buy "God of War 3" and one more way to gain access to the "God of War 3" demo. On the first note, Sony Computer Entertainment rolled out pre-ordering and details about the "God of War 3" Ultimate Edition, which comes in a sculpted Pandora’s Box replica with a limited-edition art book and some digital content to inform the "God of War" experience.
"The God of War franchise has an incredibly loyal fanbase and we know they will be extremely excited with all the exclusive content and memorabilia we've packed into 'God of War 3' Ultimate Edition," SCEA's marketing VP Scott A. Steinberg said in a press release. "With fans waiting patiently for the arrival of 'God of War 3' for the PS3, we wanted to make sure their anticipation was properly rewarded."
The $99.99 set's digital extras include a God of War Combat Arena with seven extra challenges, an exclusive Kratos skin called "Dominus," a "God of War" documentary, the "God of War Trilogy Soundtrack" and the "God of War: Blood and Metal EP."
Additionally, word comes from Sony and retailers via Destructoid that the "God of War 3" E3 demo, which is available for download today for those who pre-ordered "God of War III," will be made available via download code to those who have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition and the "God of War Collection."
So if you've pre-ordered pretty much any "God of War" release this season, you should be in could shape for downloading a demo before the new sequel lands in March 2010. And if you didn't pre-order anything, there's always the "District 9" Blu-ray.
How do you think you'll be getting a hold of the "God of War 3" demo? Do want to wait until full game comes out? Or are you not that big of a "God of War" fan and don't care one way or the other? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
