U2 aren't the only bigshots in music talking up their love for video games this week. 2009 VMA Video of the Year winner Beyoncé Knowles has her eyes set on getting her own games as well, but unlike Ireland's most famous rock band, she's looking toward the Wii's motion controls to find a way into the exercise market.
"I'd like to get involved in video games, since I really love 'Wii Fit,'" Beyoncé said, according Spicezee. "I think it would be a great idea to incorporate choreography, because, for me, my workout is way more fun when it involves dancing, as opposed to running on a boring treadmill."
Judging from the number of YouTube users who paid homage to "All the Single Ladies" video this year, she's probably right to think that her moves have some appeal, and seeing as how she already has an established relationship with Nintendo through her work promoting the DSi and "Rhythm Heaven," finding a way onto the Wii may not be a huge leap for her.
"So I would love to do some kind of fitness game but incorporate dance and performance into it," she explained. "I think a lot of women would enjoy that."
