The latest trailer for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" is dedicated to the campaign, so you won't have to dig for perk or weapon hints in here. In fact, the biggest reveal is pretty blatent, as it appears a chunk of the game will take place on American soil (pictured), with Washington DC taking the brunt of the damage. Here's the trailer:
I'm hoping that there's a way to rationalize such a ridiculous invasion. In "24" a small band of militants were able to take over the White House by using some long-forgotten pipes and making besties with a security guard. In the trailer it seems the incursion is much bigger, with DC getting obliterated by god-knows-what. This is not something a small terrorist operation would be able to pull off, so unless the North Koreans join the fight, a DC attack of this magnitude (i.e. enemy boots on the ground) seems unlikely. But then again, it is a video game.
