Hopes for an early (and free) look at "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" have been dashed, thanks to Infinity Ward's Twitter account. Regarding a pre-release demo, the game's developer said the following:
"No plan for a Demo before launch. The entire team is focused on polish all the way up to ship of the full game."
This, paired with an increasingly unlikely public beta for the game, makes it sound like the vast majority of the world will have to wait until the actual release date before they can enjoy "Modern Warfare 2." Somehow I have a feeling that the wave of early/sketchy sellers of "ODST" will come out of the woodwork once again for "MW2," so if you want to get a head start, better shore up those relationships with trench coat-wearing sleazebags.
