Daft Punk Tracks Revealed For 'DJ Hero'

Posted 9/14/09 1:55 pm EST by Russ Frushtick in News, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360

Last week we revealed some teaser art from "DJ Hero" which was hinting Daft Punk's involvement in the game. Specifically: A pair of robotic hands using the "DJ Hero" turn table controller.

Today comes with it a press release which locks down the French/Martian duo's participation in the game, including which of their tracks will be playable. Check out the playable song list after the break.

Daft Punk “Around the World” vs. Young MC “Bust A Move”
Daft Punk “Da Funk” vs. NASA “Strange Enough ft. Karen O, ODB and Fatlip”
Daft Punk “Da Funk” vs. Queen “Another One Bites the Dust”
Daft Punk “Robot Rock” vs. Hashim “Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)” – Produced and mixed by The Scratch Perverts
Daft Punk “Robot Rock” vs. Queen “We Will Rock You”
Daft Punk “Short Circuit” vs. Boogie Down Productions “Jack Of Spades”
Daft Punk “Technologic” vs. Gary Numan “Cars”
Daft Punk “Television Rules The Nation” vs. No Doubt “Hella Good”

Having watched the VMAs last night, I kinda wish Buzz Aldrin was reading that track list.
