You can check out the full "The Beatles: Rock Band" song list right here, but you'll notice that only 44 of the 45 songs are on there. What's the final song? I polled the audience to see what you'd like to see...

After an early reveal by K-Mart and a boatload of now-credible rumors, the PS3 Slim has officially been announced by Sony at a press conference in Germany.
The PS3 Slim has been announced by a very unlikely source: K-Mart. On their homepage they're running the above graphic, pronouncing a new PS3.
The graphic links to this PS3 Slim product page, which seems to imply that the Slim will launch at $300 on August 24th (that's next Monday!). Sony has a press conference later today from Games Com, and that should reveal all about the Slim. Until then, I guess you can go ahead and pre-order if it's something you're interested in.

Originally released in 2003, "Zuma" quickly became one of PopCap's most popular titles. Like most of PopCap's titles, the game was easy-to-learn, hard-to-master, requiring you to fire clay balls from the mouth of a frog, matching colors and preventing a stream of balls from reaching an end-point. People have been expecting/anticipating a sequel for some time now, and they'd be surprised to learn that it's practically upon us! "Zuma's Revenge" is preparing to launch on September 15th for PCs, with a Mac version coming shortly thereafter.

Blizzard is and always will be the master of the pre-rendered cutscene. The latest "StarCraft 2" trailer features a lone Protoss basically kicking the ass of a handful of Zerg before being confronted by none other than Kerrigan. Wowza, it's pretty! Watch it below the jump:

UPDATE: Here's the official word from Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward as to how the comic fits in with the game: "The 'Modern Warfare 2: GHOST' comic is a 6-part series delving into the, more legend than history, backstory of Ghost. The series takes place before his inclusion in Taskforce 141 and as such before the events of Modern Warfare 2; focusing more on the origins of his character, the mask, and his ‘Ghost’ moniker."
Original Story: It's not a successful franchise if there's not a comic book spin-off, right? Well "Call of Duty" has officially made it, as Wildstorm (an arm of DC Comics) has nabbed the rights to produce a "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" comic.
Titled "Modern Warfare 2: Ghost," the series will be a six-parter and tie in to the November release of the game.
I'm kinda curious just how much of a connection the comic and the game will have. Like is the above guy (art taken from the comic book) in the game in any way? Can I unlock his scary face camo? Is Captain Price really dead? Inquiring minds want to know!

"Minigore," the simple but pretty isometric iPhone shooter, is officially a hit, having already reached 100,000 in sales with its first release. But the developers aren't stopping there. A second update should be up on the AppStore any day now, and a third update is already in the works.

"Shadow Complex" is the final game in Microsoft's "Summer of Arcade" series, and, like "Castle Crashers" last year, it seems the best was definitely saved for last. "Shadow Complex" is the best XBLA title I've played to date, and will make you quickly forget that you've only paid 15 bucks for it.
The Basics
Inspired by games like "Super Metroid," "Shadow Complex" is a side-scrolling action/adventure with an emphasis on exploration. Dropped in a massive underground military facility, you'll have to climb through vents, discover upgrades and, well, shoot a lot of guys if you're going to put a stop to an intra-national conspiracy to bring down the government.

We're deep in the heart of convention country this time of year, surrounded on all sides by QuakeCon, PAX, Games Com and, of course, BlizzCon, which is going down in Anaheim on this Friday, running through the weekend.
Rumors have already started spreading about the content of BlizzCon 2009, but apparently you guys aren't quite ready to get kicked in the gnomes quite yet, as there wasn't a whole lot of support for today's Twitter poll, asking what you're hoping to see out of BlizzCon 2009.
Personally, as much as I enjoyed "StarCraft," and as much as I appreciate how slick "Wings of Liberty" is looking, I've always been more of a "Diablo" guy. I'm not looking for a 2009 release date or anything, but some inkling that we'll be hacking and slashing sometime before next fall would be nice. Or, you know, a new race announcement, which seems more likely.
Oh, yeah, and it's probably about time for another "WoW" expansion. "World of WarCraft: Cataclysm" seems to be the likely fit, but hey, we've been duped before!

If you enjoy rhythm games, this holiday season has no shortage. Between the "Guitar Hero" and "Rock Band" franchises, there are a whopping 7 new games coming out before the end of the year. "Lego Rock Band" is one of them, and it's designed to be the more family-friendly "Rock Band" option. After all, who wants their kids tripping out to Paul McCartney dressed as a creepy walrus?
