'Scribblenauts' Strategy Guide Confounds Logic

Posted 8/26/09 6:00 pm EST by Russ Frushtick in 3DS / DS, Features

The draw (so to speak) of "Scribblenauts" is for players to use creativity to solve challenges. Theoretically if it makes sense that something will work, it usually does. And considering there are oodles of solutions for each level, there's really no reason for someone to feel "stuck."

But if they are, they can consider the insanity of the "Scribblenauts" strategy guide, which I just noticed on the Coming Soon list at GameStop.

With such a wide open game, what would a strategy guide offer? Glad you asked!

"Solutions: Every level description will feature 3 different solutions, as well as one obscure solution, to solving each puzzle with the fewest objects in the shortest time. With over 220 levels, this guide contains over 880+ strategies."

And don't forget:

"Obscure Words: Over 500+ obscure words you would never have thought of directly from the dev team!"

Initially I was a little baffled at the value of such a guide, but now I want to know what those words are! Could they be one of the following 10 that I've discovered while plowing through the preview build?

Roti
Diagraph
Ybapuru
Jerboa
Galah
Bola
Xalam
Malasadas
Bansh
