To celebrate the release of "Boomworm Adventures 2," PopCap temporarily lowered the price of the original "Bookworm" to 99 cents this past weekend (from 5 bucks). The result was, predictably, a goldrush of savings, as "Bookworm" jumped up the sales charts, going as high as #2 this weekend. According to PopCap, it was down around #50 before the sale.
The sale ends on August 5th, so I'd recommend hopping in there and downloading the game before the price goes back up. As an added benefit, it's downloadable over 3G, which means you won't even need to steal someone's WiFi to get it.
