Always there to capitalize on old and new franchises in the form of a companion video game, Disney Interactive is hard at work on an "Alice in Wonderland" game based on the upcoming movie from Tim Burton. Interestingly the game will skip out on the PS3 and 360, opting instead for more family-friendly platforms like the Wii and DS. There will also be a PC version of the game.
Developed by Etranges Libellules (the folks behind "Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon), the games will follow the events of the film and appear to take on standard 3rd person action/adventure conventions. The DS version is a bit different, coming in as more of a puzzle game, where players will explore Underland. People that own the DSi will also be able to unlock content using the systems' camera.
Expect the games to drop around the same time as the film, near the beginning of 2010.
