In a press event being held in London this morning, Bethesda Softworks announced "Fallout New Vegas," a new game in the "Fallout" universe due out sometime next year. The title is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment ("Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II" and "Alpha Protocol") and will be for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Bethesda's Pete Hines said the game is not a sequel to "Fallout 3," but will be similar in gameplay. There are no further details at this time.
