This week, puzzle games get no love. See why.

Stephen's Not Playing...
"Art Style Aquia" (Nintendo DSi)
Why he's not playing the block-puzzle game he was obsessed with last week: There comes a time in a gamer's life when the music of the game he or she is playing can be heard even in silence, when the graphics of the game manifest themselves floating in the real world where elevator buttons should be, and when such a gamer falls a week behind in all of his/her podcasts. That is the moment when such a gamer needs to quit. Cold turkey.
Tracey's Not Playing...
"Puzzle Quest: Galactrix" (XBLA)
Why she's giving up on "Galactrix" even though she loved "Challenge of the Warlords": It's cheating! Okay, maybe not really, but I'm a few levels in and there have been some suspiciously good, ship-destroying drops for the AI pirates against me. Perhaps I just haven't gotten the hang of it yet. Or perhaps I need more patience and practice. But after the PC version didn't work for me (unrelated to the game -- my home computer is slowly dying) and the DS version's long load times (see Stephen's Diary), I may just put "Puzzle Quest" to rest for now and return to nursing my "Peggle" addiction.
