Did 'BioShock' Help Inspire 'Power Girl' Comic? [CORRECTED]

Here's a panel from the "Power Girl" back-up story in a pretty good new comic from DC Comics called "The Flash: Rebirth." I read it once this week without making any video game connections. And then a friend (Rick Marshall, who runs MTV's Splash Page comics-movies blog) showed me the spread above and pointed out that it might remind some people of "BioShock."
