One man saved my Thursday from failure.

Ever think you've figured out a game and figured it out that it's a game you can't beat? That's the feeling I get during many final boss battles, particularly ones in Capcom games like... "Resident Evil 5"!
Sometimes the solution is the Sunday Trick: fail repeatedly on Saturday, go to sleep, beat the game in one try on Sunday morning.
Yesterday, I discovered the Tim Kash Effect. MTV's most game-crazy correspondent, Tim Kash, approached me while I was in my 90th minute fighting the game's final boss. I had died more than 20 times. I thought I knew the boss character's patterns and I thought I just didn't have the skipp and the patience to beat him.
Tim knew nothing about how to play the game. He hadn't played a minute of this battle. But, almost immediately, he pointed to something on the screen. What about [SPOILER DELETED], he asked? I tried it. And on the first try, I beat it. How'd I miss that?
Thanks Tim!
Next: Crossing my fingers that "Chinatown Wars" will show up today for a weekend of portable Grand Theft. If not, then I've got plenty of recent games to try.
