Lunchtime Video - Better Than A Game Informer Cover?

What's the best way to announce a new video game? Capcom just tried something different today with "Lost Planet 2," but in today's Lunchtime Video, I ponder whether it was a good move or not.

The story in Puzzle Quest was definitely a wash when comparing it to other RPG franchises, but to me, that was never really the point. The major feature in Puzzle Quest was the RPG stat building that was applied to a Puzzle game. It was fun to play an extremely simple game, but with added complexity when fighting against an opponent and leveling up your character to gain new spells. I also loved the soundtrack, making the game way more enjoyable than I thought it would be (I like puzzle games, but Bejewelled is pushing it).And the Lost Planet reveal was interesting, the way they handled it. Cuz it was going to premiere on Live, I assumed an XBLA game or something, something small. But Lost Planet 2? Pretty cool. If they unveiled it after I got home from work, then it would have been better, as I already know what the game is when reading about it online from your site and Kotaku. So it kind of misses the point for most of the viewers. But still, I approve of this new, innovative advertising method:)
